The kids are really good about participating in causes like these. These are some great Earth Day activities for kiddos to celebrate Earth Day this year. We are huyge advocates of celebreating and keeping our Earth healthy and safe. These are all great tips. I am always reminding my family to turn off the light when not in the room and to turn off the water.
I need to find out where to recycle my old phones. There are a few that are just sitting around collecting dust. Kids are so enlightened these days and they recognize wasteful things we do. I love how they keep us in check. I love your easy ways to celebrate our planet and our daily living.
I will definitely do a few activities with my kids to remind them about the Earth Day and how precious life is. In our country, I hope the law stating that each of us would need to plant would be signed and implemented the soonest. I love when kids are active and understand the importance to take care of our Planet! Thanks for these wonderful ideas! It looks like Earth Day is also Easter Monday this year. I am glad that I already started doing my bit by recycling, going car-free, replacing all the bulbs, switching off the microwave when not in use.

Yes to all of these great ideas! We all should care about the environment and do our part to protect it. I remember when I was a child we did as well, and we used to go out in nature with our school, and exercise. O wow I love this post thank you for Sharing ideas on how to say and protect the earth! Using glass bottles is a great idea! I think kids would absolutely love this. They are helping mother earth and having fun at the same time. This is a wonderful idea. I have fond memories of participating in a n earth day celebration few years back.
We had a great fun and would love to indulge in these activities again. I love the ideas of planting something! I have little kiddos who would totally be into getting their hands dirty! My daughter would love to help out with anything like recycling. But I believe my daughter and I are going to try to grow a boysenberry bush.

I love celebrating Earth Day and usually take my grand kids to the beach and we play and pick up trash. I like to tell my boys, reduce, reuse and then recycle to keep the earth great. All great ideas to teach kids about the earth and how to keep our planet healthy! These are such wonderful ideas! Thank you! Ask your parents to help you start a compost system in your backyard for all your fruits and vegetable peelings and scraps. Composting is very good for the land because it is full of nutrients!
You can also use the compost to fertilize your own garden! We need to do what we can to show planet Earth we are grateful for what we have! Spend Time In Nature. Instead of watching TV tonight or playing indoors … why not go outside and play? There are many great things that you can do outside like playing a sport, taking your dog for a walk, going to the beach or planning an outdoor game Waterfight!
The more we keep our Earth clean the happier it will be. If you want to do a huge thing for Planet Earth plan a garbage pick-up at your school and involve all your family and friends to clean up the area where you play! Share your story about how you are helping planet Earth and become the Earth Hero of the Month!
Have you and your classmates put together a recycling plan? Do you grow your own food? Do you help clean up the garbage in your neighborhood? We want to hear from you! Also include your picture if you want! Footprints Conservation Society. There are many simple things you can do to help save planet Earth! There are many ways to reduce waste. The best way to look at it is to use less of everything as much as possible.
Reducing waste is another reason to buy local items without packaging. Use BYO reusable grocery bags and green to go items like those listed above whenever possible and pay attention to the waste that most people tend not to notice. Just say no to plastic bags, plastic bottles, and single-use plastic straws. They are ruining our oceans.
